Over 680 000 tickets have already been sold and the 32 teams confirmed, 9it is safe to say the FIFA 2010 World cup has all but arrived. With teams like Algeria having caused upsets to reach their first World Cup in 23 years,and judging by the line up of the teams that have qualified, there is no doubt that the tournament is going to be filled with great footbal and intersting challenges.

AFRICA:
The African Zone produced drama, passion and excitement , as Algeria returned to the sporting world's most prestigious tournament alongside four of the continent’s strong contenders.

ASIA:
Australia were a surprise at Germany 2006, being the only Asian team to reach the second round, and have earned their place as one of the Asian Zone’s most formidable squads. With only six matches each in the four-nation Stage, New Zealand had a successful campaign with two tight away wins, but had to wait almost a year to face Bahrain in an intercontinental play-off for a spot in the world cup.
