Enjoy a real Cape Safari in South Africa on a 2500 hectare game farm with more than 1800 animals. Situated on the Garden Route, between Mossel Bay and George, the countryside surrounding the farm is lush, with spectacular rock formations and dense vegetation. Besides game, one of the reserve's unique features is the extremely rare Black Impala, one of only two reserves in the world boasting these beautiful animals. Also get close to the White Rhino, Lions and Elephants. Safari's in South Africa are a must, this Safari is a short drive away from Cape Town. Making it easy to get the best of both experiences.
On the exciting three-hour game drive, visitors can enjoy close encounters with other wildlife as well: Buffalo,Wildebeest, Sable, Giraffe, Eland, Kudu, Bontebok, Impala, Mountain Zebra, etc. A wide variety of bird species makes the farm a birdwatcher's paradise as well!
Full Itinerary
Day 1 :
Departing Cape Town, we travel along the gorgeous coastal route via Gordon's Bay to whale-watching central, Hermanus. Later the morning we continue our route to Bredasdorp, where we visit an authentic shipwreck museum and then drive to the southern-most point of the continent, Cape Agulhas. Early afternoon we stop in the charming town of Swellendam for lunch before continuing to the town of Mossel Bay where we overnight.
Day 2 :
After a hearty breakfast, we set out for an early game drive until midday, past meandering rivers, forest-areas, valleys, mountain tops and plateaus, ensuring an adventurous scenic 4x4 route, a unique African experience.
Following our safari the highlight of the day will be the unique Elephant Experience. We will then enjoy an authentic traditional lunch in the elegant thatch-roofed restaurant. Our route back to Cape Town is through farmlands and rolling hills, eventually reaching our final leg through the orchards and forest of Elgin back to Cape Town.
