Your magical trip in a hot air balloon includes 2 nights at the exclusive Valley lodge, the premier country lodge in the Magaliesburg, is a glorious blend of tradition and modern hospitality. Known for its imaginative cuisine, carefully selected wines, its facilities include tennis courts, golf practice centre, gymnasium, boating, fishing, snooker room, bird sanctuary, and a Reflexology Clinic. This South African hot air balloon safari package could not get any better than this! Full Itinerary Day 1-2:
The hot air balloon crew, will arrive at the Lodge the evening prior to the flight, answer questions and brief passengers, for the balloon safari. The crew will set off before sunrise to establish the optimum launch site. Passengers follow 30 minutes later.
The flight over a game reserve is approximately 45 minutes. Traditionally, champagne will be served “in flight” or on landing and certificates for bravery will be awarded. After landing the passengers will re-join their ranger for a game drive and breakfast in the bush or at the Lodge.
COST: All prices are per person sharing and include: Dinner, breakfast, 2 nights accommodation and balloon safari.
TRANSPORT:Transfers between Lodges and Balloon Field R 495 p.p. (min 2)
SAFTEY: Flights will be conducted at the sole discretion of the pilot with regard to
safety.
Wear layers, a hat if needed, and sensible shoes.
Guests should be able to easily climb in and out of the basket and able to stand for the duration of the flight. You should also be able to jump unaided from a height of 60 cm.
