Package Overview

A fabulous three day tour with regular departures from Cape Town, including visits to the following tourist hotspots of the Western Cape. You’ll see Cape Peninsula's spectacular coastline and visit Cape Point, go on a Cellar tour and do wine tasting at 3 different wine farms. We’ll get close to the African Penguins, Southern Right Whales (seasonal), Dassies (African mountain rodents) and Chacma Baboons. To get the adrenalin pumping, there’s Cage diving with the Great White Sharks (Optional, extra cost). A local guide in Kayamandi will take you on a tour embracing township culture. We’ll travel to Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Hermanus, via breathtaking mountain passes.

Full Itinerary

Day 1 :
We go to Groot Constantia for wine tasting at South Africa’s oldest wine estate, followed by avivst to Hout Bay. Drive along Chapman’s Peak, one of the world’s most scenic mountain drives. Watch wild oceans crash into the tip of Africa at its most south-westerly point at Cape Point. We overnight in Stellenbosch, a historic university town cradled by the Stellenbosch mountains.

Day 2 :
A local tour guide will take you on a vibrant township experience of African hospitality and culture, at Kayamandi. We visit three wine farms and learn about local wines and Cape Dutch architecture in Stellenbosch. Right next to Stellenbosch is Franschoek, the gourmet capital of South Africa celebrates 17th century French Huguenot origins. The charming main street is dotted with quaint shops and street-cafes for the perfect lunch stop. We overnight at a seaside town, Hermanus, scattered with excellent seafood restaurants, and famous for whale watching.

Day 3 :
The brave can join the optional Great White Shark Cage diving in Gansbaai. Alternatively, stay in Hermanus and explore the beautiful town.
We're off to Betty’s Bay to get close to the African penguins, followed by a drive through Clarence : a coastal road back towards Cape Town nestled between the ocean and the Kogelberg mountains.
