Package Overview This exciting trail (25-30 km a day) boasts South African bird life from the endangered Black Eyed Oystercatcher to hunting Falcons. Watch seals sunning themselves on the beach and during whale season (May to November), you’ll be able to see whales lob-tailing. Horses are gentle enough for beginners and canter for experienced riders. This great horse-riding package has everything an equestrian lover could dream of. Full Itinerary Day 1 :
From Cape Town International Airport we head to Hermanus, famous for land-based whale-watching. You’ll take a horse ride along 18km of pristine beach, overnight at De Kelders. After a day’s riding, recharge in a fresh water spring on the beach (a natural phenomenon!)
Day 2 :
Ride over Witaasvoelkraans to De Uilens to overnight. Day 3 : Ride over into Flower Valley’s diverse fauna and flora. Overnight at De Uilens.
Day 4 : To Lookout Point for exquisite views in this bird watchers paradise.
Day 5 : Ride back over Witaasvoelkraans with the wind in your hair, fresh air rejuvenating your soul as we make our way back to back to De Kelders to overnight.
Day 6 : You are so good by now, you have two lessons today!
