Package Overview Aware that there are many ‘enabled’ people who wish to experience the same adventure and thrill which ‘overlanding’ has to offer, this once in a lifetime tour is a camping safari, where you are actively experience the amazing wildlife, stunning scenery, friendly local cultures, interesting sounds and gorgeous sunsets. You can travel with a partner, group or solo! It really is an experience of a lifetime that you shouldn’t miss! Full Itinerary Day 1:
We depart from Cape Town at 7h30am, to Hermanus for whale watching.(seasonal). En route to Mossel Bay we lunch alongside fruit orchards and drive to Sedgefield, to overnight Day 2:
After breakfast we drive to Oudtshoorn to visit the world famous dripstone Cango Caves* (optional cost, not accessible for disabled), an Ostrich Show Ranch and the Cango Wildlife Farm. Overnight at Sedgefield. Day 3:
Today is either the “Outeniqua Choo Tjoe” steam train* (optional cost, not accessible to people who cannot transfer easily) cutting through the Wilderness and Lake District, or drive with our tour vehicle. After a stop at Knysna Heads and Lagoon boat cruise (weather permitting), we visit the Tsitsikamma National Park to relax or explore the flora and fauna rich forest. Day 4:
We visit Monkeyland, Birds of Eden and the Elephant Sanctuary for a “Trunk in hand tour” (Elephant-back Ride* available at optional cost) or you can just relax. We then visit Stormsriver, famous for adrenalin-pumping 216 m Bloukrans Bungi-jump*!(available at optional cost) Overnight at Tsitsikamma Forest. Day 5:
We end with a drive along the coastline and to Port Elizabeth. ACCOMMODATION: 4 nights accommodation included
