Full Itinerary
Day 1:
Departing Cape Town, we travel along the gorgeous coastal route via Gordon's Bay to whale-watching central, Hermanus. Later the morning we continue our route to Bredasdorp, where we visit an authentic shipwreck museum and then drive to the southern-most point of the continent, Cape Agulhas. Early afternoon we stop in the charming town of Swellendam for lunch before continuing to the town of Mossel Bay where we overnight.
Day 2:
After breakfast, we travel inland to Oudtshoorn via the Tradouw Mountain pass, a dramatic entry into the semi-desert area of the Karoo.We views and interact with the funny looking big birds, Ostriches, explore the wonderland of Cango Caves. Overnight in Oudtshoorn.
Day 3:
We visit Cango Moutain ranch, coming face to face with crocs and cheetahs, drive to George via the Outeniqua Mountain pass. Driving along the Indian Ocean coastline, we will take you to the heart of the Garden Route, Knysna. We do a boat cruise on th Knysna Lagoon & Heads and explore Tsitsikamma indigenous forest. Overnight in Knysna.
Day 4:
After a hearty breakfast, we set out for an early game drive until midday, past meandering rivers, forest-areas, valleys, mountain tops and plateaus, ensuring an adventurous scenic 4x4 African experience!
The highlight of the day is the unique Elephant Experience. Afterwards, you’ll be treated to a traditional lunch in an elegant thatch-roofed restaurant. You’ll be quoting ‘I had a farm in Afrika’ by the end of the day! We travel back to Cape Town through farmlands and rolling hills, reaching our final destination through the orchards and forest of Elgin.
